Hey, my name is Casey Garland and I own Garland Contracting which is a family owned business serving Central Alberta. My wife and I have 3 kids that we are raising on an acreage by Rocky Mountain House.
I understand the need for someone to come in to do the odd jobs around your house or on a project but I can also understand how important it is to hire the right person for the job. Not just anyone. You will never have surprise costs or have a job take 5x longer than it is supposed to. And a criminal record check will always be available upon request before a job, if needed.
Your peace of mind is just as important to me. I stay in close contact with my clients before, during and after a job to make sure all expectations are clear and met.
FAQ’s
What’s your rate?
I have an hourly rate of $60/hour for smaller jobs and bigger projects are charged per job.
What areas of Alberta do you service?
I serve the Rocky Mountain House and surrounding area (50km radius). Anything outside of that will be charged travel at 0.50 cents/km.
Do you charge upfront for jobs?
I do not charge up front for jobs but I do charge upfront for material costs, if significant. We have a contract in place to give us both a peace of mind when it comes to both finishing a job and completing payment.
I can also offer quotes with or without material costs if you want to cover that yourself.
What if I am not satisfied with your work?
Throughout the job I ask for your feedback. If at any point you are not satisfied then we just take a step back and fix it before moving forward. That way, by the end of the job there should be no issues that can’t be easily resolved.
I am there to get the job done for you. As quickly and efficiently as possible. I am very hardworking and you will not catch me on hour long breaks or taking calls half the day.
What are some jobs you don’t do?
When you call or inquire about a job I will ask for all details and then if anything is out of my expertise that should require more specialized services I will leave to the masters in that area. My sole priority for you is long term satisfaction and if I feel I can not meet that then I will give you contact for someone who can.
